Welcome to Jonah Special School Kilkenny

Jonah Special School caters for students with Autism and Complex Needs.

Jonah Special School is one of thirteen schools in Ireland which was recognised by the Department of Education and Skills in 2010. We are a special school that caters for students with ASD. Our staff are dedicated and highly skilled individuals who are passionate about ensuring students have the opportunity to reach their own unique potential. All staff receive regular training to ensure the school is utilising a wide variety of methods as outlined by the DoES.

Caitriona Barry is the Principal teacher. Carol Deane is our class teacher in the Senior side of the school and Clare Kelly Duffy is the teacher in the Junior Class.
